Random Chromatic Note Generator: \

This exercise can be used to identify chromatic intervals.  For vocalists, you can try using solfege syllables to identify note values or identify the interval between notes. For instrumentalists, try matching notes on your instrument to keep your ear and your fingers in tune.\

\cf0 For beginners, start this exercise very slow, and with a range of only 1 octave (+/- 6 semitones).  Your goal is to correctly identify each note on the first try.  Once you can do this consistently, try increasing the range and tempo.\

Shortcuts:\

The tempo can be made faster or slower with the Left and Right directional keys.  \
Up/Down changes the range, or the number of semitones away from the center pitch (default middle C) that a note can be.  \
Z and X change the pitch center, so you can make the exercise match your voice's or instrument's range.  \
Space bar starts and stops. \
V hides or shows the current and previous note on the staff.\
\
I hope to add harmonic intervals, triads and inversions, scales, melodies, 7th chords and tensions in later updates, as well as better art and UI.\
