Lplex-0.3x.legacy

Lplex is a GPL-licensed application written by Bahman Negahban (aval57) in 2011-2012. It converts audio files meeting DVD-Video specifications (16 or 24 bit/48 or 96 kHz) to DVD-Video format.

As of Jan. 2018 this software no longer built under current Unix platforms. This archive is aimed at preserving and minimally maintaining this work for future uses, notably (but not exclusively) for dvda-author integration.

The corrected code builds and runs under GNU/Linux (Ubuntu 17.10, g++-7.2 or 7.3) using a source-built local version of wxWidgets-2.9.5 and contemporary platform versions of mjpegtools, liba52dec, imagemagick and mkisofs (cdrtools).

Note: - Free space checking had to be deactivated owing to either coding bugs or wxWidgets changes.
- Versions of wxWidgets higher than 2.9 will not be compatible.
