DTOS is a GNU/Linux distro based on Arch Linux and featuring Qtile, Emacs, dmscripts and more. It is distro that focuses heavily on educating the user to become a power user. Download the ISO and type "dtosinstall" at the prompt to launch the installer.
NOTE: Legacy BIOS is not supported. Install using UEFI only. On physical hardware, this is unlikely to be a problem (unless using ancient hardware), but if installing in a VM, be sure to enable UEFI.

After installing DTOS successfully VM and on my ASUS notebook, this encouraged me to do an installation of Arch Linux. Arch Linux is now on the Asus and running great. So, kudos to DT and DTOS. It served as Arch training wheels, in a sense.

Downloaded 2025-04-17 and installed on an external ssd. It won't boot because it doesn't find the root. I'm checking if decryption is made in mkinitcpio.conf ... it's missing encrypt hook. EDIT: it's more than that. It seems to be missing btrfs in the initramfs. I will add info when I'll find ... EDIT2: btrfs hook was not in mkinitcpio neither. Plus grub doesn't seem to configured. too much work to debug. I will wait for a new ISO. It will gives you time to work it on. I'll be back! :=)
