This is the DropPublic README

DropPublic is a very small application that makes the process of setting up public links on Dropbox seamless.

Just drag any file onto DropPublic.exe and it will link the file to your Dropbox public folder and copy the public link to the clipboard.

Configuration:

1.  Double click DropPublic.exe and the setup window will open.
2.  Enter your Dropbox URL id.
    - To find this, go to any file in your public folder and copy its public link. Paste it in notepad or wherever. It will be something like "http://dl.dropbox.com/u/***your_URL_ID***/filename.ext".
3.  The application should automatically find your Dropbox folder. If it is incorrect, Browse and select your "My Dropbox" folder.
4.  Close the window. Setup is finished!

If you're using Windows 7, you can pin DropPublic to your taskbar to make things even easier
(Hold shift when dragging files to taskbar, otherwise Windows attempts to pin them to DropPublic instead of opening with)
