These include the following products from the National Archives of Australia: Checksum Checker (http://checksumchecker.sourceforge.net) - ensures integrity of digital files Digital Preservation Recorder (http://dpr.sourceforge.net) - workflow tool for digital preservation Manifest Maker (http://manifestmaker.sourceforge.net) - creates a manifest list of files Xena (http://xena.sourceforge.net) - normalises files into open formats, encodes in Base64, wraps metadata As well as the following dependencies: ClamAV (http://clamav.net) - virus scanning for DPR Evince PDF Reader (http://live.gnome.org/Evince/) - for reading documentation LibreOffice (http://libreoffice.org) - free office suite for converting documents PostgreSQL (http://posgresql.org) - database server for DPR License ======= The National Archives of Australia's preservation software is free software (free as in freedom, not just as in price) and makes use of various other free software projects itself. DPR is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3.0 or later (see COPYING.txt). Other third party applications are under their own free software licenses. Installation and distribution ============================= You are free to redistribute DPSP and to install it on as many computer systems as you please.
