Dolls Studio (ver.1.1) is the viewer for animated 3D models.
- Preferred file format is FBX (Autodesk Maya or 3ds Max).
- The Assimp (Open Asset Import Library) is used for import, so other file formats,such as
- Khronos .glTF or Collada .DAE may be opened.
- To rotate previously loaded model (actually, rotate the camera arround),use Left mouse button on the 3D view window.
- Doing left mouse move with Ctrl Key pressed, will rotate the camera, when the focal point(on an object) is fixed.
- To position Scene light, click the Sun button,then drag and drop appeared
Light widget to define the direction of light.
- Don't forget to choose Light color, using color Rectangle on the right panel.
- Background color, flood Grid, and small Axes widget are also viewing options.
- To Start/Stop animation, select it by the number in the dropdown combobox right next,
and click the Start button.
- To adjust animation Speed, use the slider right next to the combo box.
