First, is it rational to double compress (.tar)+(.gz) 272 KB of total download? We are not in the 1990s. Downloading of 100 MB takes today a few seconds. I downloaded and unpacked the file. There is source code and readme file. I don't understand a single line from this Readme. How can I make a working .exe file for Windows 64bit from this source? Can Windows compile it? Or should I download a compiler? Is it worth my work? The program is named DOF converter, it means that is able to work with .dof files from Racer game, however, there is no information if the program converts: other 3d formats (such as .obj) to .dof or .dof files to other formats or both? I want to convert .dof models to GTR game series .gmt format. Is this possible with this converter?
