DOCX Document Converter
A simple, free, unlimited, secure web-based tool that converts Microsoft Word documents (.docx) into Markdown (.md/.txt) and HTML files. Perfect for developers, writers, and anyone who needs to transform .docx MS Office Word documents into web-friendly or AI context friendly formats.
Unlike those other jerks on the web that charge many dollars per month for this, I made it free and unlimited.
This is a better version of 'convert docx to txt' since .md files can be opened in notepad++ just the same AND they preserve formatting too! Meanwhile HTML files will even embed images allowing you to view them just like they were in the original document. Oh yeah and all images are extracted too!

- Open the converter in your web browser (use index.html if using the offline/source code edition)
- Drag and drop your DOCX files or click "Choose Files"

- Click "Convert Documents"
- Download your converted files as a ZIP package (includes images)
No installation required - just open index.html in your web browser and use away! Works even without an internet connection!

All processing happens locally in your browser. Your documents never leave your computer, ensuring complete privacy and security. No risk of filename collision even if original image filenames were similar, as all images are renamed and organized/numbered per document.
