DocuBrowse v1.5.0 — Korean Support & Full UI Localization

DocuBrowse now runs end-to-end in Korean, and the interface localization is complete across both the search page and the Settings page.

🇰🇷 Korean language (ko)

• Full language stack: bge-m3 embeddings, exaone3.5 synopsis, and Hangul character-bigram keyword search.
• Complete Korean UI translation (locales/ko.json).

🔤 Korean alphabet index bar

• Because Hangul is a true alphabet, the document-list index bar is enabled for Korean and browses by the 14 basic leading consonants (choseong): ㄱ ㄴ ㄷ ㄹ ㅁ ㅂ ㅅ ㅇ ㅈ ㅊ ㅋ ㅌ ㅍ ㅎ.
• Each button filters documents whose title begins with a syllable led by that consonant; tense consonants fold into their base (ㄲ→ㄱ).
• English keeps the A–Z/0–9 bar; the bar stays hidden for Japanese (kana/kanji have no first-letter ordering).

🌐 Full interface localization

• The Settings page is now fully translated — every label, description, button, placeholder, status line, confirm dialog, toast, and alert (English / Japanese / Korean).
• Synopsis-modal messages, document/tag counters, tag categories (code / diagram / markup), the scroll-to-top button, and network/error messages are all localized.
• Changing the interface language now prompts you to refresh so open pages pick up the new language.

🚀 Start in a language from the CLI

• docubrowser ko start (or docubrowser start ja) starts the server in that language — the code may come before or after the command — and persists the choice to docubrowse.config.

🐛 Fixes

• Fixed a fresh-instance "Error adding directory" — a blank work_dir in a config file no longer overrides the default.
• The CLI now reads the same config the Settings UI writes, so scan targets the directory you configured.
• HTML is served no-cache, so UI/localization changes always load fresh.

📦 Packaging

• cjk.py is now included in the Windows and macOS build manifests (a package built without it would crash on the CJK import).

Note: Japanese ↔ Korean share the bge-m3 embedder and tokenizer, so switching between those two needs no re-index. Switching to/from English changes the embedder — re-run docubrowser rescan for full search quality on existing documents.
