The CSIRO Dataset Metadata Collector is a Java web application which reads metadata (in a variety of formats and from a variety of data sources) on datasets and produces corresponding RIF-CS metadata which are added (or updated) in a Repository.

This project is supported by the Australian National Data Service (ANDS) through the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy Program and the Education Investment Fund (EIF) Super Science Initiative, as well as through the CSIRO.
