Program failed to install so I have no way of telling if it's any good.

Live view didn't work at all for 1000D. Sticking with EOS Camera Movie Record.

It won't let change my iso. For some reasons the iso tab is desactivated.

My pc keeps resetting few seconds after opening this app i tried so many things, i get DPC Watchdog Violation Error i really tried to fix it but nothing works, everything on my pc is up to date so dont give me sh!t about updating drivers like everyone does

I have issues with the new update. The "Stable version". My last version was 2.0.74.0. That one was very good. A few issues but overall very good. At least 4 stars. After doing the update to the "Stable" version it doesn't work anymore. After installing and open the program it keeps loading and loading. It doesn't work. I tried to uninstall it a lot of times but it doesn't work anymore. I am very disappointed because the other version was working fine. I tried to go back to that one but I am getting issues. I have been to the control panel and delete the whole program but still there seems to be some files that are still there. It says "C:\Users\noud_\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\TempState\Downloads\digiCamControlsetup_2.1.0.0 (1).exe" After deleting that and installing it again it doesn't work anymore. Is there someone that has the same issues with this new version?

A great tool that helps me to extract raw images from my Nikon DSLR. Canon works as well.

muy pero muy buen programa y no solo por que es gratuito si no por lo bien que se trabaja en el y una interfaz muy entretenida. tengo una nikon y es buena pero en programas están quedados, probé el camara control pro y de verdad no ofrece lo que uno espera que es ver las fotos en tiempo real. soy fotógrafo y créanme que e probado otros programas y me quedo con este. felicitaciones y que sigan mejorando y aunque esta en beta se que saldrá ya estable y sera muchísimo mejor. creo que este programa se merece 1000 puntos.

Como pasa con todo fotografo amateur siempre se llega un punto donde se necesita un poco mas de control. El diseño y funcionalidad del software es aceptable, al ser gratuito uno se puede ahorrar el valor de Capture NX que es una de las competencias por 130 dolares. Tiene soporte para la linea Nikon D3000 D3100 D3200, que no es soportado por Capture NX, las opciones que da al usuario son correctas, queda además el detalle que también soporta a modelos de Canon como EOS 500D y EOS 1100D. Un software que da mucho a cambio de nada y que además tiene mucho potencial para seguir creciendo, totalmente recomendado.

This is a piece of art: well thought user interface and packed with features. It supports so many cameras, according to my research more then the proprietary brands themselves. The support is fine. If you do not get prompt reply is because the questions was answered on the blog too many times :)

AWESOME!!! I like my new Nikon D5300, but find the software from Nikon a big disappointment (as compared to the Canon software ) I had hoped to use the wifi option on the camera for remote shooting, but that is 1-very limited and 2-only on android, not pc. digiCamControl has everything I want. It allows me to preview images on a large screen when shooting from a tripod., I'll just get a longer USB-cable. Love it.

This program is just excellent. As it is peranently updated and improved it is even better than Nikon's own 150 dollar Camera Control Pro version. For that reason alone it deserves a 5 star rating!

Used this program for several months. It fills a vital role for free DSLR to PC software integration. Completely free, easy to use, and few issues which are constantly improved, this is a great tool. One which I will happily and extensively continue to use!
