Please note that you require the latest software of Java SE Runtime Environment, commonly called as JRE. 
The latest JRE can be downloaded at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html. 

In order to run the Detexter app, download the "Detexter 1.1.zip" file and unpack all the files. 
Make sure the "Detexter_1.1.jar" and the lib folder are in the same folder.
Double-click the "Detexter_1.1.jar" file.

Applicable licences are included in the Licences folder in the "Detexter 1.0.zip" file.

The source code is included in the "Detexter 1.1 Source Code.zip" file. 

Please note that this app relies on the PDFBox library (http://pdfbox.apache.org/). 
I used NetBeans 7.3.1 for the development of this app.
