If you want to install all of the additional mate software, go to System -> Administration -> Synaptic Package Manager. In Synaptic, scroll to the bottom of the list of categories on the left side, 2nd to last at the end, select mate, choose any additional package! Other Included Software: - LeafPad Text Editor - PCManFM File Manager - GDebi Package Manager - RemasterSYS (For creating your own Live Debian Build) - Unetbootin (Burning ISO to USB Stick) The rest of the applications are included from Mate 1.6! ** Other Kernels: In Synaptic -> Kernels linux-image-3.2.0-4-686-pae - Kernel for newer pc's, PAE Only! linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64 - Kernel for newer pc's, 64 Bit, PAE Only! Install selected kernel, reboot and choose newly installed kernel, then open Synaptics -> Kernel and select, linux-image-3.2.0-4-486 and mark for complete removal!
