New Feature
-
Unified semantic modeling with Dosi. A native Dosi adapter has been added, and create, update, delete, validation, and Knowledge Base synchronization workflows now converge on
semantic_modeling. The new workflow supports file-based targeting, multi-model routing, safe deletion, and rollback on failure. MetricFlow and legacy OSI projects retain query capabilities but are no longer supported as new authoring paths. (Agent [#1237], #1249, #1251, #1282, #1287, #1289; semantic-adapter [#69], #76) Docs: Dosi Semantic Adapter, Semantic Modeling. -
Dosi is now a more complete standalone metrics engine. The DATUS extension has been upgraded to 1.4, adding year-over-year and period-over-period comparisons, rolling and cumulative calculations, ranking, LEAD, statistical windows, and filtered and composite derived metrics. A native MCP server is also available over HTTP and stdio. (osi-engine [#29], #31, #34, #35, #44, #45, #46; semantic-adapter [#75], #82) Docs: Datus Extensions, Window Metrics, MCP.
-
End-to-end Oracle support. This includes a DB adapter, Oracle 19c-compatible dialect operations, a SQL skill, Dosi SQL lowering and an ODPI-C executor, plus Agent installation and execution support. (db-adapters [#84]; Agent [#1272]; osi-engine [#52]; semantic-adapter [#83]) Docs: DB Adapters, Dosi Connectors.
-
End-to-end GaussDB/openGauss support. The integration supports both the official driver and the pure-Python pg8000 driver, SHA-256 authentication, PG/A/B compatibility modes, full TLS
sslmodeand CA verification, and native Dosi execution. (db-adapters [#96], #100, #102; Agent [#1279], #1295; osi-engine [#50], #57, #58) Docs: Datasource Configuration, Dosi Connectors. -
New
datus packagecommand. Project configuration, semantic models, skills, templates, and reports can now be exported as a self-contained ZIP archive with credentials excluded. File tools also no longer enforce a file-extension allowlist, enabling them to work with Dockerfiles, Terraform files, notebooks, and other project files. (Agent [#1262], #1260) Docs: Package Command.
Enhancement
- Data permissions now apply to semantic metric queries. The new
metric_row_filterinjects filters before aggregation based on the datasets used by a metric. Restricted AI permission reviews are also supported in the ASK state, and principal propagation has been fixed. (sql-policies [#5]; Agent [#1261], #1265, #1277)
BugFix
-
Fixed critical correctness issues in semantic modeling and query workflows. The fixes standardize half-open time ranges and address SQL preflight, partial failures in multi-dimensional attribution, preview validation error propagation, the SQLite bridge, Dosi dry-run SQL formatting, and Oracle service-name mapping. (Agent [#1238], #1242, #1253, #1292; semantic-adapter [#74], #79, #80, #83)
-
Fixed runtime control and session reliability issues. Subagents now correctly inherit request-level permission profiles, cancellation can terminate tasks waiting on
ask_user, and fixes address/chat/history500 errors, duplicate text from parallel tool calls, and failed responses being traced as successful. (Agent [#1248], #1268, #1273, #1280, #1284) -
Fixed database compatibility issues. StarRocks now falls back to
SHOWto retrieve tables and columns wheninformation_schematimes out. GaussDB now connects correctly on macOS and rejects mistakenly loaded PostgreSQL libpq libraries. Dosi no longer returns DOUBLE values as strings. (db-adapters [#93], #98, #101; osi-engine [#42])
