DataBox helps presents a common interface to several databases.
Currently supported are Access 2007, Excel 2007, Ms SQL, MySql and Sqlite.

Written in VB.NET, it helps you change your database type and continue to use
the same sql statements!

Your favourite database not yet added? You can do it! It is easily extensible! Just get the source (under the Files->src folder) and tweak it. You can always send me a message here on SourceForge.

Generic Timetable Generator
A timetable generator that produces standard timetables based on constraint algorithms. Written in Java and Mysql.
Timetable Generator
Manages student, lecturers, venues, periods and courses. Time tables created from a seed of periods and linked courses. Iteration is performed on created time tables under the venue, lecturer and student contexts reducing infringements. For details on how TTGen works, see files/res/ttgen-manual.pdf. University Timetabling
UniTime is a comprehensive educational scheduling system that supports developing course and exam timetables, managing changes to these timetables, sharing rooms with other events, and scheduling students to individual classes. It is a distributed system that allows multiple university and departmental schedule managers to coordinate efforts to build and modify a schedule that meets their diverse organizational needs while allowing for minimization of student course conflicts. It can be used alone to create and maintain a school's schedule of classes and/or exams, or interfaced with an existing student information system.
