Welcome to CROWZ! CROWZ new release dated 2024.02 Introduction: CROWZ release base on Devuan 6.1.0-18 CROWZ, formerly Zephyr is a minimalist distro derived from Devuan GNU+Linux base. Thanks to all who downloaded and used CROWZ! CROWZ is complimented with a small number of select applications to assist the new user OOTB. There are some NEW minor changes, attempting to provide the best suitable tools, applications to both suit the needs of potential users and ensure the integrity of CROWZ look and feel. ************************************************************************ Short list of the changes: 2024 isos dated 2024.02 Calamares installer version: 3.2.61-1 (Note: To launch Calamares installer for Crowz Daedalus, PCManFM manager menu://applications/System Tools... double click Install. (if prompted for password use "live". For other older Crowz releases prior to Chimaera and all 32-bit isos use, username "crowzlive" and default live passwd is "live" Some minor tweaks, changes, and corrections! Epiphany browser: Now the default browser, with Firefox-esr and Chromium browser as alternate downloads in crowz-welcome screen. Icons: Grey-Maia crowz-welcome: Optional choice of browsers Dunst: Notification daemon Dmenu: Using Star Linux i3 dmenu-bind.sh for an expanded dmenu & alsa-mixer to include bash script for dmenu.
