Since Crowbar currently supports multiple version of both OpenStack and Hadoop, and since there are multiple entities working jointly, there's a set of available branches. In order to figure out which one's for you, please read below:
mesa-1.6: This is currently the most stable and viable branch of all our OpenStack releases. Mesa 1.6 is the basis for our official Grizzly based product release. While it's not completely stable yet, new code is being added only to harden to release.
roxy: bleeding edge - OpenStack Havana public branch. Now, with Docker support! See https://github.com/crowbar/crowbar/wiki/Docker for help.
pebbles: If you want to live on the bleeding edge, this is your branch. This is the jointly developed branch, it also supports Grizzly, but is generally less stable due to the amount and frequency of incoming code.
