- Claude Fable 5.1 is here — Anthropic's newest flagship model (GA 2026-09-01) is now available in Craft Agent on the Claude Agent SDK path, with the full 1M-token context window and lower cache-read pricing. It works across direct Anthropic connections and AWS Bedrock (us/eu/global inference-profile variants), and existing Anthropic connections pick it up automatically on their next model refresh. Opus 4.8 remains the default — Fable 5.1 is offered alongside it, listed above Fable 5 in the picker. Like all Fable/Mythos-class models it runs with adaptive thinking always on. (
