This is the first build of RMIR v2.08, superseding the last official release which was v2.07 build 2. The main additions since that build are support for the URC7880 and URC7935 and new ways to access the Bluetooth interface, for those remotes that support it, that do not require the specific BLED112 dongle. There have also been a number of bug fixes and a further major revision of protocols.ini by The Robman to fix errors and improve its consistency. Consequent changes have been made to a significant number of RDFs to align them with the revised protocols.ini. As with all new versions of RMIR, as distinct from new builds of a current version, RMIR v2.08 build 1 is only available as a full installation package. Please note that for the installation to work correctly, this package needs to be unzipped into an empty folder that is not read-only. For a Windows OS this means, in particular, that it should not be unzipped into a subfolder of the Program Files folder. If you want to preserve your settings from version 2.07 then, after unzipping the package, copy the RemoteMaster.properties file from the installation folder of that version to that of this new version. Note that protocols.ini includes no-repeat versions of certain protocols, primarily intended for use by Slingbox files. Due to the specialized nature of these versions, by default they are not loaded when RM or RMIR is opened. If you need these protocols, check the item "Show Slingbox protocols" in the Options menu of either RM and RMIR. These protocols will then be loaded in all subsequent invocations of RM and RMIR until this item is specifically unchecked. The file BLED112-Signed-Windows-Drivers.zip contains the official Windows drivers for the Bluegiga Bluetooth BLED112 dongle that may be needed for Windows systems where plug-and-play fails to install them. Linux and Mac OS X do not require a driver.
