  • Conky 1.8.1 is awesome! I have found a gui called conkywizard that works with my ubuntu 11.10 at this site: http://www.webupd8.org/2010/06/conkywizard-gui-to-set-up-conky.html, it helped me learn about configuring conky better and it allows you to setup a running conky alot more quickly. I would recommend using this program to get a basic setup and then edit the configuration file ConkyWizardTheme located in your home folder under .ConkyWizardTheme (the . means it is a hidden file, so you must show hidden files and folders in order to see it) Hope this helps those of you who are new to conky :) and those who already use it! Again a thumbs up for conkywizard as well :)
