Version 0.9
Originally developed for use with PuTTY, the excellent popular terminal access program, but will work equally well with any windowed application where sending stored text sequences is beneficial.
On start-up the list box control is populated with the name of all text files in the same application directory. Selecting any of the text file will load its configuration. The files use comma-delimited values (CSV) to store the individual parameters for each button as follows:
Button Text, User Input Questions (optional), text to send to target window, Button tooltip text (optional)
The first line in the file identifies part of the text contained within the target window's title. The application confirms it has detected the requested window when the first dynamic button is pressed.
A maximum of 40 buttons can be defined in each file, there is no limit to the number of text files. Pressing a blank blue coloured button adds a new entry into the current text file.
Features
- Send stored text to any windowed application
- Request user input (maximum: 3 questions) and send to windowed application
- Display tooltips next to dynamic buttons to provide extra information
