  • Seems to work if installed in an older version of php/apache2 (considering that it's 7 years old, that's not surprising!). Has no support forum here and the forums on the owner's site are not even visible without already having an account. That being said, it's also the only open source collections software I could find. We'll be updating it to the latest version of php and forking the project if there is no update forthcoming from the owner of the site. As for functionality, it is a simplistic web interface that seems to encompass only a small portion of the collections environment, but certainly an excellent place from which to begin (as opposed to starting with Nothing!). If it had been continually maintained and upgraded over the last 7 years, it would probably be a powerhouse in the industry. As it stands, if I had purchased a copy of any of the commercial licenses for this product, I may be somewhat disappointed in the lack of progress ... but then again, perhaps the commercial package is alive and well under a new name. Three stars due to a lack of obvious support route and outdated PHP code and fairly "thin" functionality (framework is in place, though).
