  • Well Absolon, I don't know you and I think you got me confused with someone else. The air team actually said that they didn't have time to do a no limiter branch, so I did it. This is how you contribute in the open source community. And maksis didn't complain about me doing this client or not giving enough credits. He had one opinion about the version numer, so i bump the next release to version 3.0 in honor of the two prior versions of this dc client. (strongdc and AirDC). ref: www.airdcpp.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=3946
  • This project was made by hard work by Night and maksalaatikko and copy/pasted by the "coders" in this project. It's really low to remove and NOT giving credits to the REAL developers. All YOU did was to replace the name with yours & change the limiter-dialog with a "return;". Really low, but knowing who you are we are not at all surprised by that. Original: SetDlgItemText(IDC_VERSION, _T("AirDC++ v") _T(VERSIONSTRING) _T(" By Night and maksalaatikko \n")); Yours: SetDlgItemText(IDC_VERSION, _T("CleanDC++ v") _T(VERSIONSTRING) _T(" Modified by MadeWithCoffee and T4U \n")); So where are your credits? Btw. Sure it's GPL so you can do anything you want but it's poor practice not to give creds to the people who really made the work while you changed the name with search/replace, set some parameters to 0 and added a "return;" to disable the limiter. It's not like you added any code of value. You didn't even remove the limiter-code. It's still there. You just disabled it. Calling it "Modified" well, tweaked is the proper name for it, if any.
