[5.4.1] — 2026-09-17

Opens redirects, proxies and Node app management to the panel API. The commands themselves exist since 5.3.1 (cipi redirect, cipi proxy) and 5.4.0 (cipi node); until now they were CLI-root only, so a panel (cipi/api ≥ 1.20.0) could not offer them.

Changed

  • Panel API sudoers (/etc/sudoers.d/cipi-api): www-data may now run cipi redirect set|enable|disable|unset|add|remove|list, cipi proxy add|remove|list and cipi node list|status|restart. Every rule is the usual exact command line, nothing broader.
  • What deliberately stays CLI-root: Node runtime management (cipi node install|default|upgrade|remove), cipi search install|upgrade|key-rotate, cipi package install|remove and every zt mutation — installing software on the server is not something a web panel should be able to do, compromised or not. The redirect/proxy validation is the CLI's own (loops, collisions, reserved paths, loopback and metadata upstreams), so the panel gets exactly the same refusals.

Migration

lib/migrations/5.4.1.sh: regenerates /etc/sudoers.d/cipi-api and checks it with visudo -cf afterwards, warning if it does not validate. Nothing is deployed, reloaded or restarted.
