I loaded this little remix onto an old HP laptop (non-pae) and it works just great. Fast and solid. Some complain about these re-dos but there can't be too many in my opinion. It's harder and harder to find operating systems for old but solid computers. This one I like. It also has a Classic Gnome desktop choice. Cheers to the developer on this one. Added 8/6/15. Now also added to my desktop along with other linux distros. The best and most stable of any Cinnamon I've ever tried, including Mint. It just works and handles great. I hope when this LTS expires in 2017 the developer will update this gem.
