C H R O N O T O P ***************** Chronotop for Linux ------------------- This application performs the same tasks as crontab without crontab... Open and close an application at a specific date and/or time per second. Desktop stations : - For stations using a graphical environment, where chronotop is a main application to manage the (chronos) time controler. - For user on server in terminal where the (chronos) time controler is the main application using parameters to manage options and data entries. To install chronotop, place it in the "Home" folder, open a terminal and enter: ./Chronotop-App.sh [Enter] To launch the application, click on the desktop link, aplication menu or goto the Chronotop folder, open a terminal and enter: ./chronotop [Enter] Chronotop is automatically translated into the system language at first boot up. Servers : Install only the "chronos" time controler in a folder and enter: ./chronos [Enter] This will start the controler directly in the termimal, Ctl-C to exit. To start as system service, type : ./chronos service [Enter] To show all program options, type : ./chronos ? [Enter] ./chronotop ? [Enter] The Chronotop Linux application is a freeware writed in Linux Bash 5.2.3 Chronotop for Windows ( Vista/10/11 ) ------------------------------------- To install Chronotop Double-click on Chronotop-App.exe Confirm the application extraction... Once complete, the InstaBin program will prompt you to install the "sqliteodbc.exe" driver. Click the "->" button and confirm the driver installation. The program will then offer the second driver, "sqliteodbc_w64.exe"... Confirm the installation and finish by installing "setup.exe". Close InstaBin (using the -> button). Chronotop is now installed. Examples of sessions to modify or delete are available in the list. This Windows version does not use command-line parameters. The time manager is not an external program and therefore cannot be run as a system service.
