ChessTutor V1.8

Server and client run on Instructors system

client runs on students computer. You can run two clients and the server on the same sytem for testing purposes as the default is localhost.
This program is best used with something like Skype at the same time.

The program is at the beginning stages of development so it is a little rough in the interface.
Please report any bugs to me and I will fix them.

I am welcome to hear suggestions for improvements. Obviously at this stage it needs PNG, move recording. I also planning on putting in bookmarks so people
can go back to earlier versions of their game. At some stage I will add in a rudimentary computer play

The program uses port 8901. This is fixed unless you import the code yourself for now. You will need to have this port open in your firewall for outside programs to
connect. And if you are using a router as most people do you will have to forward all traffic to port 8901 on the server end.
The program is set to use on localhost. This obviously needs to be changed if you want to run it over the internet.
Access the IP address through the options menu on the client. Only the student will have to change his since the server is running on the local host.
Enter either a IP or a url. There are a dynamic DNS services for free to aid you in running this program. I use no-ip sucessfully.

If people find this program useful and use it, I will add features. I know there are very excellent chess programs for free. This program is orientated towards teaching
beginning chess by showing the student which pieces are attacking and defending and also the squares that a piece covers.

This new version adds an arrow to always track the last move and arrows for diagramming.
