The 12.04.3 release upgrades the desktop to Xfce4 4.10.2+ and includes the most
recent releases of core applications, such as LibreOffice 4.1.3. This release
also has the most recent stable release of open-vm-tools, which has also been
modified to build under all LTS supported kernels; 3.2, 3.5, 3.8, and the soon
to be released 3.11. This release activates the Ubuntu updates, and Centrych
updates, and upgrades repositories.
The 12.04.2 release is geared for users who prefer the most recent, but stable
versions of applications and want to receive both Ubuntu and Centrych updates
as they become available.
The 12.04.1a release is for users who want stable applications and minimal
change to their system after installation. This release includes LibreOffice
3.6.7, the final release of the 3.6 series. It is also configured to only
receive security updates by default, but that can be changed if desired.
