Centro de software es un proyecto con el mismo proposito que Ubuntu Software Center: brindar una forma fácil y rápida de instalar, desinstalar, actualizar y obtener información sobre programas y paquetes.
Este intenta ser una aplicación que logre eso en las XO, donde no se tiene acceso al usuario "root" (y por lo tanto no se pueden utilizar paquetes convencionales), a través de paquetes portabilizados y adaptados para las XO.
