cartcut v0.6.0

The headline of this release is template timelines: a project can hold its own nested compositions, each with its own timeline, expanded in a tab of its own and rendered inside the main composition. This release also brings the cloud asset library with graphics, transitions and GIFs, GIF export, a settings dialog with language selection, and storage management.

Template timelines

A project can now contain compositions of its own.

• The project template model, with fork, rekey and related operations.
• Main and its templates are held in one store under one undo history.
• A template expands into its own tab above the timeline.
• Templates are drawn, saved, recovered and exported as part of the project.
• Effects, transitions and backdrops are drawn inside a placed template.
• A template's own sound is mixed into the delivered file on export.
• Awaited agent edits land in the timeline they started in.
• End-to-end coverage for expanding, editing, switching, saving and reopening a template's own timeline.
• Template timelines and the schema 4 exception recorded in CLAUDE.md.
• Template links and transitions are namespaced, with fill kinds corrected.

Cloud assets

• New cloud graphics and transitions.
• GIF cloud added, with the GIF fetching scripts and credits extended.
• Cloud download management, including a summary and a clear action.
• Cascading animations while browsing cloud assets.
• Cloud API settings and behavior clarified in the documentation.

• GIF export with a configurable frame rate and width.

• A settings dialog, reachable from a new button.

• Track header rendering reworked, with styling for the empty state.

• Frame guide removed from the preview chrome, with the documentation updated.
• Developer tools opening logic reworked for clearer control.

Server

• Root endpoint returning the server status and version.

Fixes

• Ruler offset height corrected so it aligns in the timeline header.
• The agent now refuses undo and redo while the caption session holds the timeline.

Chores

• Code structure refactored for readability.
• Version bumped to 0.5.12, and the cartcut-editing plugin and marketplace entry to 0.6.1.
