To install/update, copy the last release into the /Patches folder and run it from the Organelle. Then regularly run the Update script from the Capture menu : this will download the next release if available directly into the /Patch folder ready to be installed.

Capture is not active by default, it can be activated from the Extra menu once installed/updated.

The activation process consists of placing a custom mother.pd file into /sdcard/system , this one has compressors/limiters (SuperCompress) and a recorder (Capture), it also desactivates the footswitch input for all patches, bypasses the LED to blink in red and displays the recording audio levels on the Input OLED VU-meters while recording. It overrides the factory mother.pd on every patch except those that already include a custom one (Orac for example, that requires a dedicated module).

All scripts back up mother.pd files into /sdcard/data/backup for safety. These backups are overwriten each time a script is run.

The Uninstall script from the 2.2 release removes captures and mother.pd backups, older releases removes backups only, 2.4 and above doesn't remove anything.

To uninstall 2.5 and above : desactivate first then just remove the Capture folder from /System (and the Captures patch from /Patches).

If you installed a release from 1.3 to 1.5 you need to download and run Capture_1-x.zop (it is a script to remove folder_list.pd_linux & mother.pd files from factory patches with their default folder configuration, backs up mother.pd files into /sdcard/data/capture/backups but you may need to create that folder as it is not used since 2.3).
