Added

  • Quick chat in the app. Quick chat under New agent in the sidebar, ⌥⌘N (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+N on Windows and Linux) and the palette start a Claude Code session without picking a folder, in a tab under Other folders. It was only on the browser's Now screen.
  • Subagents show their model and what they cost. Each row in the cockpit's Subagents section shows the model the subagent runs on (for example Haiku 4.5), how long it has worked and what its own calls have cost. A dot pulses while its call runs. Up to three that finished lately stay listed, muted, with model, duration and cost. The section's header shows what all of the session's subagents cost. A cost Caprock cannot price is left out rather than shown as $0.

Changed

  • The New agent sheet says what Where means. This folder · main is the project's own checkout, Existing copy · <branch> one already made, and New copy on its own branch a separate folder on a new branch, with a one-line explanation and a Branch name field — no git vocabulary needed. Start shows its key (⌘↩, Ctrl+↵ off macOS), which works from every field. Model names fit their box: Codex's default reads gpt-… (default), and the Claude and Gemini labels are shorter (Opus 5.5 · all-rounder).
  • Tabs never vanish when you pick another project. The tab strip holds every open tab of every project, in the order you opened them, each with its project's name and colour; picking a project shows its tabs in the sidebar or its page, and the strip keeps the rest. ⌘1–9, ⌃Tab and dragging run along the whole strip. Tabs saved by an earlier version come back as they were.
  • A simpler project list in the app. Only the current project is open in the sidebar, and under it are exactly its tabs — the ones in the tab strip, in the same order and under the same names; shells read Shell 1, Shell 2. After them, muted, whatever of that project still runs with no tab — a session you closed the tab of, a shell left running — and a click opens it as a tab; ended sessions are not listed (they are on the project's page and in ⌘K). No branch rows and no worktree rows. Click another project to make it current; there is nothing to expand or collapse, and the list never reorders when you click: pinned projects first, then by name. The tab you are looking at is the one highlighted row. A project's row shows only what runs in it and what waits. With more than eight projects, the ones with nothing running, no tab open and no pin fold under More projects (it was Quiet, after a week without activity); with eight or fewer every project shows. Waiting on you shows only when something waits.
  • Dashboard opens as a tab. ⇧⌘D and the sidebar's Dashboard open Now, Cost and the other screens in a Dashboard tab pinned at the left of the strip, with the terminals beside it, one click away; Settings opens there too. In the app, Now leaves out the session cards and the projects panel, which the sidebar already lists; the browser dashboard still shows them.
  • The terminal matches the app. A new colour choice, Match app, is the default: the dark Caprock palette in the dark theme and Paper on the window's own colour in the light one, so the terminal no longer looks like a dark window laid on a beige one. Caprock's ground is now the dark panel colour, the same as the tab strip. A palette you picked by hand is kept; Caprock saved before this version, when it was the default, reads as Match app — pick it again to keep it in the light theme.

Fixed

  • A session whose background agents are still working is no longer "waiting on you". When a Claude Code turn ends with subagents still running, Claude Code resumes the session by itself once they finish. The cockpit used to say "Waiting on you" beside "1 subagent working". It now says Background agents working · N. Such a session gets no waiting dot, is left out of the Waiting on you inbox, ⌘J and the project's waiting count, and sends no "finished" notification until its last subagent stops. A permission prompt still waits, whoever asked.
  • A subagent no longer moves its session to its own folder and branch. Hooks and transcript lines from a background agent working in a git worktree carry that worktree's folder and branch. They overwrote the session's, so a session in ~/dev/caprock on master showed an agent's feat/… branch and worktree path. A subagent's folder and branch now only fill a session that has none yet. A session already moved goes back with its main thread's next event.
  • The cockpit header names the project. Under the title it shows the project's name as the sidebar shows it, then the branch only when that is not the project's default. The full path is a tooltip. It used to show a branch beside a folder path cut from the left (…nt-a874ec5240fb37a9d).
  • Focus no longer jumps while you fill the New agent sheet. Each time the app refreshed behind it, the sheet threw the caret back to Project; now focus moves only when you move it. The same fix covers every sheet in the app.
