Added
- Gemini 3.8 Flash and Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite are priced. A Gemini CLI
session on either model had its tokens counted but no cost, and the Cost
screen named the model as unpriced. Both now carry Google's list prices,
read 3 October 2026 (pricing table
2026-10-03.1). Gemini 3.8 Flash is on introductory pricing that doubles on 1 January 2027; the table will be refreshed before then.
Fixed
- Documents dropped into a session's terminal arrive. Dragging a Markdown,
CSV, JSON, YAML, log or source file from Finder printed "415 Unsupported
Media Type", because the browser gives those files no type and only images,
PDF and plain text were accepted by type. Files are now accepted by
extension — images, PDF, text and documents, Office files, data and source
files — every dropped file is attached, not only the first, and each keeps
its own name, so Claude reads
contract.pdfrather than a timestamp. A file that is refused says which types are accepted. - The README no longer lists starting a Gemini CLI session as Premium. It never was: the New Session dialog offers Gemini CLI to everyone, like every other agent. Asking Gemini about your numbers is the paid part.
