Fixed
- Hook events are no longer lost when the database is busy. The shim waits a second and hangs up, and an event still waiting for the write lock was abandoned with it — 41 on the owner's machine, each logged as "context canceled" and missing from the record. The write now finishes after the shim has gone.
- The log no longer grows without bound. A model missing from the pricing
table was warned about on every event, re-reads included — 1.1M identical
lines and a 4.6GB
caprock.log. It is now said once per model, and the daemon's log is rotated at 64MB with one previous file kept; a log the daemon has stopped writing to is cut to its last 8MB. - Restarting the daemon no longer re-reads every Codex transcript. On the owner's machine that was 1.1GB and 30k duplicate writes on every start, while the dashboard and hooks waited; only transcripts that changed are read now.
Changed
- CI checks the query plan of every aggregate the dashboard polls and fails when one would read full event rows instead of a covering index — the regression behind 0.59.2 and 0.59.3, which a small test database could never show by timing.
