Caprock is a local dashboard for every claude session on your machine — including the ones you start in a terminal yourself. It reads the transcripts Claude Code already writes, so there is nothing to change in how you work.
brew install dspv/tap/caprock && caprock up
Your whole history is there on first run. Nothing leaves the machine.
New: caprock report
Prints what your own usage would have cost at API list prices, against what your plan costs for the same window:
$9,705 of Claude Code at API list prices on a $200/month plan — 41.6× the fee.
Not a bill, not a discount received, and not money back: without the plan I
would not have run this much.
2026-07-19 → 2026-08-22 · 33 active days
paid $233.33 over that window · same usage at API list $9,705
59,589 turns · 57 sessions · 26 projects
99% cache hit · 89% of input cost cut by cache
15,703,654,742 tokens read from cache · 128,619 fresh input
The plan fee is prorated to the window and printed with cents, so the division checks out on sight. --json and --markdown for wherever you are pasting it. Those are my numbers; run it and you get yours.
Also fixed
In the light theme the pulse's two upper cost tiers rendered as the same orange, so the legend explained a distinction you could not see.
