Added
- Start an agent from a GitHub issue or pull request. In New agent,
for a project on GitHub with GitHub connected in Settings, From a GitHub
issue or pull request… lists the open ones — number, title, author,
labels — searchable by any of them; ⌘K → New agent from issue… opens
it directly. An issue fills in a new copy named after it
(
issue-123-short-slug) and a first message with its title, link and text. A pull request also starts the copy at its latest commit, fetched with your own git credentials (a fork's too), with a message to review and continue it. Everything stays editable before Start. The list is read only when you open the picker, through the GitHub connection you already have.
Changed
- Each terminal takes about half the memory. The process that keeps a
terminal alive across a Caprock restart (one per shell or agent tab) is now
a small program of its own,
caprock-pty-host, shipped besidecaprock, instead of the whole of Caprock run in a special mode. Measured on an M1 Pro Mac, macOS 27, on 2026-10-11, twelve idle login shells over three runs, each holder process: 11.2 MB of memory before and 4.7 MB after (median physical footprint, as Activity Monitor counts it; resident size 20.3 MB before, 10.9 MB after). Sessions behave exactly as before, and a session started before the upgrade keeps running in the holder it started in. Ifcaprock-pty-hostis missing — ago installbuild, say — terminals are held bycaprockitself, as before.
