  • One prompt, several attempts, compared by cost. In New agent, with New copy from a branch, set Attempts to 2, 3 or 4: the same agent gets the same first message in that many separate copies, all from the same commit, each with your .worktreeinclude files and setup command. They open as tabs (attempt 1/3 · …). Compare attempts (⌘K, or Compare in the inspector) sets them side by side: what each is doing, files and lines changed, what it has cost so far and how long it has run, with Open and Review changes on each. Nothing is merged for you; keep the one you want.

  • Clean up copies. A project's ⋯ menu, or ⌘K → Clean up copies…, lists every git worktree of the project with its branch, last commit, size on disk and whether it is merged, pushed, has uncommitted changes or has an agent running in it, plus the total the copies take. Tick the ones you are done with (Select merged and clean picks those that lose nothing) and remove them, optionally with their merged branches. Only copies Caprock made are removed, never the main checkout; one with work not saved anywhere else asks again and says exactly what would be lost, and one with a session running in it stays.

  • Saved prompts and commands. Save what you type over and over — Run the tests and fix what fails, or a shell line like pnpm dev — with a name, for every project or for one (Settings → Saved prompts and commands). Press ⌘K, or + in the tab strip → Run saved…: a prompt goes to the agent in front (or opens New agent with it), a command runs in a new shell tab in the folder in front. On your phone, your prompts are chips above the message field: tap one, then Send.

  • Caprock keeps your computer awake while agents work. A long run no longer stops because the computer idled to sleep. It lets go once nothing is working; the screen can still turn off, and closing a laptop's lid still sleeps it. awake in the status bar says when it is holding. Settings → Keep awake: Off, While agents work (the default), or Always.

  • Review notes on the diff, sent to the agent. In the Changes view, click a line number to leave a note on it (⇧-click for a range); notes sit under their lines and stay with the worktree. Send to agent types them all, each with its file, lines and code, into the session Caprock started in that worktree as one message — or starts a new agent there with them when none is running.
  • Fix with agent. A commit or push your git hook refused, files left in conflict, and a pull request's failing checks or conflicts each get a Fix with agent button in the Changes view: the output goes to the agent working in that worktree (or a new one there) with a short instruction to find the cause and fix it.

Fixed

  • The Changes view said "A merg is under way" during a merge (and "rebas" during a rebase); it now names the operation, and a hook's coloured output is shown without its escape codes.

  • New copies are ready to run. A new copy of a branch from New agent (or the sidebar) gets the ignored files your repository lists in .worktreeinclude, such as .env, copied from the project's folder. Give a project a setup command (Setup, under the new copy in New agent), such as npm install, and it runs in the agent's terminal before the agent starts, with its output there; Ctrl+C skips it, and a failure or ten minutes starts the agent anyway.
