The files are collected based on dates and then copied to folders with the form yyyy_mm_dd_subject under a base folder on your hard drive. After scanning the camera or card, you can choose which dates and which photos are copied. Previews are optionally in the interest of making the program run faster since collecting previews from a camera or card can take a long time. Duplicate filenames may appear on the camera or card. Duplicates can be removed or renamed to be unique. The program is written with the Qt Framework which is portable among Windows, Linux and other systems. You can find the Qt development environment here: http://qt.nokia.com/products/developer-tools/ You can find updates here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/cameraphotoread/ - Darrell Duffy 29 June 2011
