  • Wonder, why the version number is not growing? The best and free application everyone will need now or in future. Thank you.
  • Una gran herramienta! Gracias chicos
  • I love Calibre and kovidgoyal and the people who helps!
  • Great program! Does what I want, gets out of the way when I'm reading! But 4 updates a month? 1 would be much better!
  • Very good, this application deserves help and donation,Kovidgoyal works hard and with love and it shows even using for a short time.
  • A great tool! Thank you guys for your work!
  • hi,how can i print my list books in calibre?
  • Just wanted to raise to your attention that the OS X DMG file for 0.8.68 is corrupted and does not work on Mac OS X Lion (at least it didn't in my case). The one before (0.8.67) worked. Update: Forgot to mention. This software is AWESOME!
  • Fantastic!
  • Nice work. The only disadvantage that pushed me away is that Calibre copies my whole library instead of linking to it, which duplicates space needed, and if your library is big, most of your hard drive is occupied. Is there a way to avoid this problem? Please help. Thank you.
  • Very very nice!
  • I like reading and collect books. So thank you very much!
  • One of the greatest ebook managment system ever!!!!
  • The GUI still sucks, but it's a good and versatile library and cross-conversion tool. I use it for cross-conversion quite a bit. Thanks!
  • nice and simple GUI, i like it a lot better.
  • Freakin' Awesome!! @kacknoob - I'm running Win7 on a 10 year old box with a 1gig proc, 512mb pc100 sdram and 8mb integrated vid and Calibre runs just fine.. Me thinks that, either, your box is bad or you're doing something that no other does for setup / config of Windows. Install was idiot-proof and simple, it runs from start menu without a prob and conversion of pdf file worked flawlessly (just took a while as the box is OLD).
  • Superb!)
  • is better
  • I installed the latest version of Calibre after reading all of the great reviews, and I've had nothing but trouble. It runs slow. Painfully, insufferably and uselessly slow. In fact, I can't do much past loading the main screen before it completely locks up my system. Well after ~5 hours, 2 re-installations (same and older, 'more stable' version...0.7.17), 5 forced restarts, 1 windows failing to start (never seen before)...I give up. I've tried pretty much everything to try to get this working. (includes disabling firewalls & antivirus, and every other 'fix' there has been to this problem) I'm running windows 7 on a computer more than capable of handling whatever program I throw at it - except this one apparently. Every time a user (like myself) reports this problem, the developer swiftly dismisses it as a user-end problem...so if this happens to you, instead of spending hours of messing around just uninstall and move on.
  • Easy to use software. Converts almost any formats. Reads many formats. Creates multiple libraries. Easy to add books. My only complaint would be the minor update prompting. However you can generally just ignore that until a more major one comes along. I ignore something like the complained about .30 and .29 and only pay attention when it goes from 0.7.xx to 0.8.xx. or if there is something major in the changes like the newest Kindle format. The current edition is 8.52. I'm running 8.51. I'm not bothering until it changes something that fixes something that annoys me or adds functionality or we hit 9.00. Worrying about extremely minor updates that change nothing for you personally is a tad obsessive compulsive.
  • Great software, simple and easy to install
  • Very cool program
  • very useful, thanks!
  • Excelente para gerenciar uma grande quantidade de e-books, além das funções de conversão e plugins.
  • A really good ebook collection manager/convertor, if you want to manage a large collection of ebooks or convert between formats then this is the one. I prefer a two page layout for reading, like the one you get in mobi reader, the book viewer in Calibre is customisable with css style sheets but it is a bit too techie and awkward to find what you want, a set number of styles to choose from would be good but that feature is missing. Much of the file and metadata management in this program would be brilliant if applied to a music program, if he ever published an mp3.ogg.flac. etc music management tool like this, I would definitely be interested, so would millions of others, it would knock Itunes for six. Very good, but could be even better with some attention paid to the viewer, I use this to organise and MOBI READER to actually read the books, it's a shame that the built in viewer in Calibre is not as good.
