----------------------

** Installation **

Please read the GettingStarted.html file in the distribution folder (https://sourceforge.net/projects/caelinux/files/CAELinux2020/GettingStarted.html/download).

*** CAELinux 2020 Lite version ***

Simply download the "lite" ISO image, and create an USB bootable disk using your preferred tool (UnetBootin or else). Alternativelly, you could burn the ISO image to DVD.

*** CAELinux 2020 Full version ****

To download the ISO image, you will need to download each of the three part of the 7z archive (files caelinux2020.sio.7z.001 to .002) and uncompress the ISO using 7zip.

Then please check the md5sum to make sure that the image is not corrupt.

Please note that CAELinux 2020 ISO image does not fit on a DVD and due to its size, it requires a special procedure to create a USB flash drive.

We recommend to use Ventoy (https://www.ventoy.net/) to create a bootable USB flash disk as it worked flawlessly in our tests.

If you want to install CAELinux 2020 in a virtual machine, we strongly recommend using VMWare Player or Workstation as VirtualBOX does not work well with some of the packaged software (mostly SalomeCFD).

For any feedback, please post in the forums at:
