Burp Suite Professional Reviews

Hi I am facing a problem in this burp suite . I downloaded it and ran in wsl everything worked fine got some issue and resolved them and finally burp ran but after setting proxy and everything still the burp is not intercepting the request I check everything and everything was fine but there is no http history or not even intercepting any req , so i closed the burp and relaunched it and in proxy the port i defied got changed .( i sat to 8085 from 8084 but after relaunch the port automatically sat to 8080). please solve my problem as soon as possilbe
