The packages listed for this binary release have debugging disabled. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- --- 2011-05-27 Release 7.20.0 --- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This release marks the introduction of our new build system based on CMake, a cross platform tool that is capable of generating native build logic for a wide variety of operating systems. Cliff Yapp has been working on this conversion for a number of months in order to simplify the task of building BRL-CAD on multiple platforms. Previously, there were two build sytems in BRL-CAD - one based on GNU Autotools for Unix/Linux platforms (including Mac OSX), and the Microsoft Visual Studio files for Windows. CMake will allow one set of build rules to handle all supported platforms, eliminating the need to manually update the Windows build logic at release time. * TCL/TK ISST on 64b platforms (CMake only) - C. Yapp/E. Greenwald * zoom out keybinding fixed on Linux/*BSD - Cliff Yapp * improve search handling of multiple paths - Cliff Yapp * segment splitting bug fixed for tesselation - Richard Weiss * facetization crash fixed for large models - Richard Weiss * improve asc2g handling of attributes - Bob Parker * review and merge CMake build logic into main branch - Sean Morrison * removed -t and -m from annotate command - Sean Morrison * add -q "quiet lookup" option to the ls command - Cliff Yapp * fix a variety of bugs in the red command - Cliff Yapp/Sean Morrison * add "attribute standardization" logic - Cliff Yapp * cut splitting order fixed in librt, may impact results - S. Morrison * add LIBRT_BOT_MINTIE environment variable - Sean Morrison * libtie merged into librt - Erik Greenwald * improve path resolution logic for search paths - Cliff Yapp * change search output order to shallow followed by deep - Cliff Yapp * use . and / to request list/full patch search results - Cliff Yapp * add -f flag to red for overwriting pre-existing comb - Sean Morrison
