  • Hey, all. I tried this game out, and really liked it. I thought it'll be helpful to give you some suggestions that would improve it and make it a little more creative than it already is. General: - Making everything related to the HUD disappear during cutscenes. (Health points, lives, power bar, scrore, time, etc) - Re-designing the health points so they'll be Koopa's Red Shells rather than hearts. - Minimizing Bowser's health points, re-arranging them and moving them below his score. - Minimizing Bowser's power bar, and putting it below his health points. - Activating Bowser's hair animation while walking. (just like how it works in SMB1, and Megabowser of this mod) - Replacing Bowser's hand animation while walking with the original one (just like Megabowser's hand animation). It looks slightly better. - Adding a Koopaling (Bowser's adopted children) in each castle's cage. That makes it a necessary to give them a bigger part (or maybe the only part) of the conversations than the regular Koopas, if regular Koopas would have any part. - Activating 'Bowser Defeated' track from SMB3 All-Stars for Bowser when falling in levels. - Activating the animation of Bowser's defeated; hand, leg and hair, when falling in levels. (it's currently present for Megabowser) - Activating Bowser's damaged animation when he loses a health point. (it's activated for Megabowser when he gets damaged, which is the same animation of SMB1 A-S' Bowser as well) - Making Bowser's hair and brows a little more detailed. Some orangish parts, some shadow-like touches, etc. (not exactly like SMB1 A-S' or Megabowser, but close, so it should stay red, but not really orange) - Making Bowser's mouth move when walking. (opens and closes) Power-ups: - Replacing Red Mushroom power-up's design with Koopa's Red Shell, and Green Mushroom (live-up) power-up's design with Koopa Green Shell. (I don't remember if live-ups exist in Bowser's Last Stand, but if they don't, then adding them would be cool) Enemies: - Death Cap's King Toad (it would be cool if you make a different look of the Death Cap's leader, maybe the regular Toad design, but instead, the mushroom hat being re-colored from white to golden, and clothes being re-colored from blue to red. Another way that might be better: replacing his model with one of the SMB3's Mushroom Kings, which would need a little change to Bowser's words so he won't ask him if he's the leader of the Death Cap, as his appearance will already describe it.) - Adding all available color versions (green, red, yellow & blue) of Yoshi, giving him the ability to use his tongue for attacking - Programming Toads (big ones) so they'll be defeated differently; as song as they get damaged, they'll die but their mushroom hat will stay on the ground, and will work exactly like the Koopa shells in vanilla Mario games. - Adding a Blue Toad version of Lakitu (if it's possible. But it should throw same objects that Blue Toads throw.) - Adding Toads that will throw Mario's/Luigi's fireballs. (maybe you can pick the orange color for their mushroom hats) - Adding both Red and Blue Toad versions of Koopa Paratroopa - Adding SMB1 A-S' Poison Mushroom - Adding SMB1 A-S' Lava Bubble (to castle levels, World 8 levels and World 666) - Adding SMB1 A-S' Goomba - Adding SMB3 A-S' Paragoomba - Adding SMB3 A-S' Chain Chomp - Adding SMB3 A-S' Fire Piranha Plant - Adding SMB3 A-S' Fire Snake - Adding SMB3 A-S' Flame Chomp - Adding SMB3 A-S' Nipper Plant - Adding SMB3 A-S' Thwomp (to castles, World 8 levels and World 666) - Adding SMB3 A-S' Boo (to castle levels, World 8 levels and World 666. In case you'll make Ghost town levels, Boo's should only be added to Ghost stages, World 8's castle and World 666) - Adding SMB3 A-S' Stretch Boo (to castle levels, World 8 levels and World 666. In case you'll make Ghost town levels, Stretch Boo's should only be added to Ghost stages, World 8's castle and World 666) I also think it'll be cool if you design some Ghost House stages, similar to SMW's (especially that Bowser's Last Stand doesn't have underwater levels, and they wouldn't fit while playing as Bowser neither, adding Ghost House stages will be a good replacement). Maybe a level of each world. It would be a bit heavy to design a few more levels again after those years of releasing the game, but they might be so enjoyable to play. (it'll make it a bit different from SMB1, since SMB1 has 4 levels of each world, while Bowser's Last Stand would have 5 if you made Ghost levels, which would be an additional improvement compared to SMB1's world system.) For more ideas, you can check out the 'Bowser's Revenge' mod. (except for the mushroom hat working same as Koopa shells, I didn't get my ideas from there, but that mod features a couple of cool and creative stuff) P.S: This review doesn't not look good formated in public, but it does only when I click to edit it.
