This script is initially designed for the Malagasy Wiktionary. You have to do adequate changes to make it work on your own Wiktionary : * "fpage" variable has to be changed. It contains the way you format pages on your wiktionary. Already implemented variable are : - {name} the pagename; - {type} the part of speech of the entry; - {lang} the language ISO code; - {tran} the definition. NOTICES ABOUT THE SCRIPT IN ITSELF : --------------------- When running the script, "kaodim-piteny ? >" asks you the language ISO code. "fiteny ? >" asks you for the language name on the local wiki you will crawl. The wiktionary used to crawl here is the French Wiktionary, so you will have to enter ISO code and the name of the language in French to find anything. Malagasy Wiktionary, uses almost the same format as the French Wiktionary, so there you will be able to crawl too. I do not guarantee the fact that it works on the English Wiktionary. To fully customise this script. You will have to change the categories it crawls in (line 16), the way it gets the word translation (line 77-117). Other elements may have to be changed, and I let you guess which. This script is free to use and provided as is. Comments and console message have not been translated (what a lazy person I am!) and it is programmed in a quite dirty way (sorry).
