This is the second or third image I can't install. It gives me a GRUB BIOS/MBR installation error. It's very frustrating.

This Calam'ares like Arch installer worked very well. I installed KDE plasma which took considerable time doing the on-line download installation. I thought for a minute it was going to hang-up and stop working as some have suggested here while undergoing installation. It just took a lot longer then expected, but it did install properly in totality. My only complaint is that my audio did not work for what ever reason. 'Pipewire' is standard for the audio output but could not get audio output at all. Something must have gone wrong during the installation I can only assume. Maybe another attempt is warranted but I'm back using my old system now on the same computer. (Audio works) BTW it's EndeavourOS (arch-like) Linux. Great installer. This is the way to go for effortless installation without all the headaches.

This is a very worthwhile project which allowed me to comfortably play with i3. Although I use Hyprland on my Garuda PCs as a rule, kyknos123 has developed a straightforward, clean arch installer here which I am planning to use regularly. I added yay and was good to go. Congratulations kyknos123.

Thanks for your hard work, it's a shame there's no grub to manage the OS we want to boot, otherwise it's great.

This installer works greatly for me ! Althought, I wanna warn the devs that the MATE and Cinnamon screenshot are inverted.

202311 Plasma/no kde apps/no browser/ All AMD graphic stuff selected: Pamac is not in the ISO + The installation fails at the end beause of the following (replace partition or erase disk xfs): The bootloader could not be installed. The installation command <pre>grub2-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id=arch_[GRUB] --force</pre> returned error code 1. When dual boot, this fatal error kills Grub. I selected the gnome desktop with the above iso and again the blutooth on my older gigabyte with intel i7, ddr3 etc.. was not working by default but in both garuda and manjaro it works, but the whole point in trying the other options is to get a more pure install of arch with working blutooth features, but in any case its a bug I guess that's not been fixed in the Calam-Arch-Installer on sourceforge that not been fixed yet. which again I need working for my blutooth headphones and sound devices like my earpods. I like the idea of Plasma but this but for me its Gnome is better to have as a desktop than Plasma or KDE in a 4k Resolution at this time , I got an 4k monitor and it defaults to 3840 x 2160, in the display settings for gnome you can scale it all from 100 to 200, and keep the resolution of 4k , my new monitor supports HDR, and is a gigabyte M28U my newer pc is connected to Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070, not running linux from bootup on that one yet, since I got a lot of pc games that run better in windows like all my epic games and such, my older gigabyte desktop I have an intel i7 once installed I was able to get the blutooth working again , below is how I fixed it edited the URLS but sources to fix it on under this **superuser.com/questions/908462/getting-bluetooth-to-work-in-arch-linux#:~:text=If%20you%27re%20running%20Arch%20you%27ll%20want%20to%20install,to%20start%20at%20boot%3A%20sudo%20systemctl%20enable%20bluetooth** If you're running Arch you'll want to install bluez and bluez-utils. Great project with a lots of nice installation features. Unfortunately my installation stopped at 59%...

It works very well on my PC but every time i turn on my computer the previous session is getting restored even when turned off in settings

Hi Calam-Arch-Installer.iso is not working in EndeavourOS boxes with Gnome 42. Here are the flaws in the attached images: It hangs at 11% and doesn't install any distros. ( h ttps:/ /imgur.com/a/jgcHwi1 )

The best way to install arch in the simplest way, without having to memorize so many commands. Arch for normal people. Good for the developers, a great goal.

Cannot use Ventoy with this Iso . Methods of making working flash drive changiing non stop please choose one and stop changes . All other work 5 stars.

Would be better if you would include a BTRFS option as well, Otherwise looks promising for installing Arch with some basic options.

Hello ! :) I was use your installer on Laptop ASUS TUF 504 Intel/Nvidia. Everythink work fine. I have got Ubuntu 20.04 before. After using your installer i got better and more more faster OS on my Laptop. From long time I want to use Arch, but I have always problems with NVIDIA PRIME (Intel 630 / Geforce 1050Ti). Your instalator install Intel and Nvidia drivers and Prime softweare <--- Thanks because it was always very hard for me. Good work ! Please continue your project. Best wishes

At last a good Arch installer! The only thing that does not work for me is full disk encryption. Whenever I choose this option I get a grub error (unknown filesystem) after reboot.

It does pretty much what is expected and is a great contribution
