Bittixlinux9, download scripts:

These are bash scripts, and to start them you have to open a terminal window,
on your linux and type one of these commands and hit enter, and follow instructions
on the screen (they are designed to work on a distro with apt-get command
that is Debian Ubuntu or anything based on them like Linux Mint),
other wise you will have to install some programs first manually
(git unzip genisoimage at least)
You will have to have at least 5 - 6 Gb free disk space on /tmp to
be able to use the script to build (the build will need the tools plus double
the space taken by the final iso file:

You only need to do one of these:

./getbl9base.sh #this downloads a Bittixlinux9 in the smallest size 1.7 Gb

./getbl9baseandvbc.sh #this downloads the Bittixlinux9 Main modules as the first one and Virtualbox Guest module 1.8 Gb iso

./getbl9baseandusaseach.sh # this downloads the full Bittixlinux9 with all currently uploaded modules,
							# the USA vector sea charts module for OpenCPN gps plotter and the Virtualbox Guest module 1.9 Gb iso

The resulting iso file is in /tmp/dnl1/makebittix9slax/slax/bittixlinux9-xfce-dvd-amd64.iso

You can burn it to dvd with e.g. brasero or if you have bashburn installed
with command bashburn in terminal you can start the program by which you can burn the iso image file onto dvd.

if you need to boot it from usb-memory stick there is at least 3 programs:

http://unetbootinbitti.sourceforge.net
http://www.bittix.org

From your own linux distribution there is most probably unetbootin,
which is probably not necessary if you are able to install the previous.
sudo apt-get install unetbootin
unetbootin

or in Linux Mint
mintstick

or first sudo apt-get install mintstick

or if you don't have Mint, then for 64-bit linuxes:

http://usbimagewriterrepack.sourceforge.net/

there are windows versions for unetbootinbitti and unetbootin at least.
