Key Highlights

bit BlazorUI

  • Finished the theme infrastructure pass on every component, from BitButton and BitTextField to BitDataGrid, BitMap and BitPdfViewer, with new theme tokens for motion durations, font captions and progress track corners.
  • Added the BitCountryPicker and BitTimeZonePicker components, badges on BitNav items, and seekable PDF stream sources for BitPdfViewer.
  • Added JS and CSS trimming: published Blazor WebAssembly apps now ship only the BlazorUI scripts and styles they use.
  • Made behavior consistent across components: Esc and Tab keys in popups and callouts, reduced motion, focus rings, RTL and auto direction, disabled state, prerendering, disposal, and trimming in client server projects.
  • Unified the enums and turned bool parameters into flag-like parameters across the library. This is a breaking change: for example IsEnabled="false" is now Disabled.

Tooling

  • 15 new Blazor libraries joined bit platform, each with its own website:
  • Bonboarding: product tours, spotlights, hints and app walkthroughs.
  • Bmage: image processing in the browser.
  • Balette: a keyboard-first command palette, the Ctrl+K box that searches and runs any page, action or setting.
  • Blow: node-based UIs such as flow charts, pipelines, state machines and diagrams.
  • Bdnd: declarative drag and drop.
  • Bortable: sortable lists, within a list or between lists.
  • Borm: schema-driven forms from a C# type, a fluent builder or JSON Schema.
  • Bink: drawing and ink.
  • BbScanner: a barcode scanner written in C#.
  • Blex: reactive state management for Blazor and .NET MAUI with Redux DevTools time travel.
  • BlazeDb: a memory-first embedded database for Blazor WebAssembly.
  • Bsqlite: SQLite and EF Core in the browser.
  • Bcrdt: real-time collaborative editing.
  • Belemetry: one telemetry SDK for every kind of Blazor app, browser and server.
  • BevTools: in-app devtools with a live component tree, a render profiler and diagnostics.
  • Added the bit CLI: bit new creates a bit Boilerplate project and gets it ready to run on Windows, macOS and Linux, and bit clean, bit rename, bit remove and bit diff help maintain it.
  • Bmotion now supports prerendering and Blazor Server better, and Butil trims correctly in client server projects.

bit Boilerplate

  • Added a rebrand skill that restyles the app to match a brand.
  • Users can crop and rotate profile and product images before uploading them.
  • Users can stay signed in to several accounts on one device and switch between them.
  • The Aspire containers stop once the project sits idle.
  • bit Brouter is now the default router.
  • Reworked elevated access with passkeys and trusted sessions, and made the database reject references to another tenant's rows.
  • Replaced MinIO with RustFS and added Cloudflare R2 support.
  • A security hardening pass on sign-in codes, sessions, the chatbot, push notifications, uploads, token storage and the CD workflows.
  • The WebAssembly app becomes interactive sooner.
  • Diagnostic modal uses BevTools instead of eruda.

Websites

  • bitplatform.dev/mcp now answers per release (for example ?v=10.7.0), so your coding agent gets the code and docs of the version your project uses.
  • The create project page is now a guided interview, and the project assistant works with Claude's OpenAI compatible endpoint.
