The bench mark dataset for Whole Genome Sequence Compression comprises of 1105 prokaryotes, 200 plasmids, 164 viruses and 65 eukaryotes.  Strength and weakness of compression algorithm will be evident only with a comparison based on the scientifically compiled bench mark data set.
