BEAM Ingester v0.2 BEAM Ingester is the first step towards the first step in the workflow of the Bodleian Library's digital preservation system. The ingester is essentially a jumped up copy program with storage abstraction and the ability to perform forked writes. Currently it handles writing to file systems and Fedora Commons repositories. This might change. It is an Eclipse RCP application and my first such app, so if you're a wiz with RCP, please tear it apart and let me know - I suspect I've done a lot wrong (in the code, not generally, you know, in life)! :-) If you're not, please still tear it apart and let me know! :-) The code is in the SVN repository for the project: http://beamingester.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/beamingester/ In time I'll add binary releases and documentation here.
