Just to make sure you dont try Batavi if you have a newer version of php... : First of all, if you make it to installation, you will certainly stop at step 2. Its because in the install folder - template - install 2 php page there is a typo error, you can correct it by searching the word "emtpy" and replacing it with "empty" in the entire file. Then, before you try again with install, do the same steps also in the install 3 php file. Check also the 4th install file - now I am not sure. Than, if you get to the 4th step of installation, you get an error realizing there is no database table, or no database at all. Do it yourself and from the PhpMyAdmin import to an empty database the Batavi.sql file from the installation folder. After import reload the fourth step and you will get finally to the 4th installation page correctly. Then you realize, if you have a PHP 5.4 or above, its not usable anymore because of the strict standards introduced in the newer PHP versions... And even after all this you try it, you will have to rewrite a lot of codes. I just lost one day of my life figuring out how the hell could I install it and get it to work. Maybe one time I will have enough time to rewrite it so it can meet the strict standards... but I would be much more happier, if someone else would do it... :-)

FYI, Batavi requires php v5.3 and will NOT run (well if at all) on php v5.4, 5.5, nor 5.6 due to not meeting the 'strict' coding guidelines.

Not able to install, or add a support ticket. No-one can get back installation stage too, seems there is no help from developers putting a link to the new 1.3 release when it still DOES NOT INSTALL. Poor effort, I would recommend Icecat find another workable solution
